Job Description

Ticket Office Assistants will help the ticket office with aspects of ticket sales, distribution, and management for our men’s basketball, men’s hockey and women’s basketball teams. Our student workers are important team members, providing top level customer service to fans, alumni, players, friends and families for our nationally ranked athletics programs.

Duties include helping out on game day, looking up orders in the Paciolan system and directing fans to the appropriate resources to answer their questions. Ticket Office Assistants may also help with ticket print runs, helping organize will call for game days, and preparing tickets to be mailed.

As a representative of Providence College and the athletic department Ticket Office Assistants are expected to provide top customer service to all fans, which often include high level donors. They are also expected to follow NCAA rules and regulations, and use critical thinking skills to bring issues to an adequate resolution using the people and resources available.

Required Qualifications

Proficient with technology, and comfortable using multiple online databases to find information. Should be able to communicate clearly and effectively, and are able to follow rules for handling sensitive information, including credit card numbers and customer information.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with PC athletics, be it attending or working games, or experience working in a retail/sales setting is preferred.
