Job Description

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Providence College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Mathematics, commencing August 2018.

Essential Duties

Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in data science or category theory.

Education and Experience Required

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or statistics from an accredited institution (or earn one by August 1, 2018) and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the college and community.
